This is a faked tilt-shift lens effect. Tilt/shift fakes are popular on Flickr these days but this one was done about 2 years ago. I fancy myself quite the blazer of trails in this regard. A modern day Davie Crockett of Photoshop. Or not.

In any case, this is a real photograph of the agora in Athens, Greece. Taken from the top of the Acropolis. The short depth of field was accomplished in Photoshop. Basic processing was done in Lightroom prior to the trip to Photoshop.
