This is the mockup for a splash screen for an iPhone App that we are developing for LibraryThing.com.

I'm not sure that I'm all that comfortable with the target-in-the-book idea. But I also think that stick-pins are also a little overdone when it comes to logos for geo-aware applications. More work is needed. On the bright side, I like the color scheme and overall feel.

You can see the original, LibraryThing-based design below. It was good, but it was saddled with the idea of fitting in with the current LibraryThing design scheme.
